From Farm to Fork, the complete story…..

Formerly Beenham Park, Folly Farm is home to their small herd of Traditional Pedigree Herefords, who graze the pastures alongside their mixed breed sheep.

All their animals are grass fed all year round, producing the tastiest, high quality beef and lamb.

They have fantastic relationships with the abattoir and local butcher who share in their ethos of sustainable, local food, with the highest welfare standards.

The farm is assured by Red Tractor, and they follow the Pasture For Life principles.

This means they:
Only use antibiotics and drug treatments when absolutely necessary.

Strive to create and sustain biodiversity from the soil up.

Provide a natural diet of grass and native herbs and legumes.

Minimise waste within the production process – they pack and sell all of their own offal, and bones with future plans to tan the cow hides, and create soft furnishings from their wool. 

They love engaging with their customers, and telling their story, so please ask about their animals, and processes. 

With many events planed from Christmas Lamb Open days to educational adventures, there is a lot happening on the farm!
