Are you experiencing domestic abuse? You are not alone.

As a woman fleeing domestic abuse, you may want to access specialist refuge accommodation. The Helpline can help you find a refuge vacancy for you and your children; call us for more information.

We can also support you to find other specialist services in your community, which can provide support whether or not you have left your partner.

However you feel
you’re not alone…

Everyone has mental health & just like physical health it changes from day to day & many things can affect our mental/emotional health.

It is estimated that 3/4 of medically diagnosable mental health conditions emerge by the age of 24.

Emotional difficulties such as anxiety & depression have become the most prevalent type of mental health condition experienced by 5-19 year olds.

As a member-led organisation, there are great opportunities to get involved with the running of Eight Bells from cooking lunch to being part of the management board. We believe in empowering our members, this creates a great atmosphere within the centre; people feel part of a community. People aren’t told what to do here, rather they are involved in deciding how things are done.

Information about AA meetings in the Thames Valley area, who to call or email for help if you think you might have a problem with alcohol and general information about Alchoholics Anonymous.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
