If you’re out shopping, with your Smartphone in your hand, you can find out exactly what their needs are right now.

BanktheFood will send you a helpful ‘ping’ when you are at your local supermarket with your local food bank’s needs.

You can download the App ( it’s free) from the Google Play Store (Android phones), or,
from the Apple App Store (Apple iPhone).

After downloading:

• click get started
• allow location if you like
• scroll to the bottom of the list and click “Search for more Food banks”
• enter the following post code to find them: RG19 6HW
• click Follow for “West Berks”

You may donate food & other items at these permanent collection points.

They don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry.

That’s why they provide seven days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis.
