Young People and Children First, known as Bridge for Young People, provides a home and support to young people (aged 16-25) who are leaving care or who are homeless.

They currently have three houses in West Berkshire; Cornerstone, Rebecca House and Hope House.

Their residents have typically experienced varying challenges during their childhood.

They provide them with a stable home, emotional support and practical help during this crucial time as they move into independence.

Young People and Children First are looking for responsible and trustworthy people, over 18 years of age, who can help with a range of activities in the next stages of their charity’s growth and development; whether this is joining their Trustee Board or their team of volunteers.
