Margo Payne started being a voluntary activist for Richard Benyon, who encouraged her to stand as a Town Councillor. She was elected in 2015 as Conservative Councillor for Clay Hill. Margo was voted Deputy Mayor in 2017, before being elected as Mayor in 2018. In this interview she talks about what it was like to be the Mayor and the memories she has.
