The latest developments regarding Ardington’s new operating venue from 2024.
After an extensive search of many options, they are excited to be concluding discussions with The Victory Room at Bucklebury, a beautiful 9m x 11m studio space, flooded with light and overlooking open countryside.
Bucklebury (the previous home of Kate Middleton) sits in the top five places to live in Berkshire and is another beautiful village – Ardington is a tough act to follow after all!
The impressive new facilities include the largest kitchen they have ever been in, so their usual high standards of cakes and catering will be maintained, perhaps even improved!
Accessible car parking is plentiful with space for dozens of cars, right outside the main doors on a flat level.
As well as the main studio hall, featured in the picture above, there are ample cloakrooms, and another smaller meeting room should they ever need it.
The location is very convenient for travel, just 11 minutes from the M4 Junction 13 with the A34, Northeast of Newbury.

It’s about 25 minutes South of the current Ardington venue.
They are currently finalising 2024 dates directly with the venue and are starting to book tutors and workshops.
They intend to start slowly but surely, with a smaller number of workshops than their usual programme from the outset.
This may mean that we will not be able to invite all their current onsitetutors back immediately, and indeed, some categories of workshop will not be suitable for the new venue.
They are continuing to build their online programme to accommodate as many new and regular options as possible.
Their business name will continue to be Ardington School of Crafts Limited.
