Wine and Tapas Evening
They’re delighted to invite you to a special Wine & Tapas Evening at the pub on Friday 7th August at 7pm.
Throughout the evening, they’ll be pouring a carefully selected range of wines, each paired with a variety of freshly prepared tapas from their kitchen.
From bold, characterful reds to crisp, refreshing whites, every glass has been chosen to complement the dishes and bring out the best in each bite.
Adding to the atmosphere, they’ll be joined by a talented Spanish guitarist, providing a gentle soundtrack to the evening – the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine and a table full of small plates.
It’s a lovely excuse to settle in, unwind and enjoy a cosy evening with them.
Tickets are £49.95 per person, and can be booked on their website
They look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
The Packhorse
Mapledurham is a quiet, rural village on the river Thames, hidden away down a steep, narrow lane.
The village formed part of the landscape of The Wind in the Willows, and if you visit you can appreciate how extraordinarily well author Kenneth Grahame has captured the essence and feel of the place.
You’ll find log fires burning, lots of cosy corners to lock yourself away, and a well stocked bar right at the heart of things.
Their chefs create delicious seasonally inspired menus in the style of modern British cookery, always including hearty pub classics as well as introducing something a little different, or a little lighter for all occasions.
They have a beautiful garden overlooking the local countryside, the perfect spot, they think to while away an afternoon
