Follow your outdoor imagination and begin an adventure. Wellington Country Park offers an open air, fun-filled venue for children up to the age of 8 years old.
Visit the much loved furry friends at the Animal Farm. They hold daily animal petting sessions for you to get up close, touch and learn more about their fascinating animals.Take a trip on Arthur, their Miniature Railway for an approx. 5 minute loop with lots of things for your children to see.Look on whilst your children bounce away to their hearts’ content. Allowing your smaller visitors to enjoy the freedom and excitement of leaping in the air!
Don’t forget to pack your swimming clothes. Let your children play in safety by walking through their water spouts, crawling through a water arc or sitting under their water umbrella.
Great for tiny tots, soft play is an indoor area equipped with soft materials and equipment. It is a safe and fun environment, where babies and toddlers can create and develop life skills.
Children can get behind the wheel on little automated jeeps. Watch on as they drive themselves around and have the time of their lives spotting safari creatures on their way round their track, extended in 2020.Collect your golf clubs from the Lakeside Cafe for some friendly competition between you and your group.Slide, swing or climb your way around their adventure play area. A full assortment of play equipment lies ahead including our giant zip wire. They
have over 30 dinosaurs in an immersive zone with the Lost World Sound Experience! Walk back through time on your adventure.
Ahoy there! Jump on board HMS The Duke of Wellington our pirate ship, is perfect for swashbuckling friends.
Climb any of the ladders to the top of the hill to see the beautiful views of the Park. Choose from a selection of slides and enjoy the thrill as you hurtle down. Located by the Lakeside Cafe, can you manage to get the water down to the sand?
They serve hot meals, light bites, great coffee or handy snacks to add to your picnic; with four different food areas around the park.
All food and drink is available to takeaway with many picnic tables and breakout areas to sit and enjoy food on the go.
They have a limited amount of indoor seating which is only available to customers with hot food purchased onsite. During the hours of 11:30am – 1:30pm, these tables cannot be used for any picnics.
Situated on the bank of the lake, our Lakeside Cafe is open daily. Offering hot pasties and sausage rolls from Chunk of Devon, cold snacks, children’s food bags, hot and cold drinks, ice creams and more!
Come and try a delicious scoop of Carte D’or ice cream. A great way to cool down after your adventures!
