My reputation as a florist is based almost entirely on exquisite wedding flowers. Much of my time is spent arranging these blooms; most clients come via recommendation, be they previous couples, friends or their families or the local venues where I am a preferred supplier.

First and foremost, it’s not about me but always about you. I believe that every couple I work with is unique and that one style does not fit all. So whilst you might like a particular look, a flower, colour or a particular style, I’ll always consider you, your personality, your likes and just as importantly, your dislikes. During our consultation I’ll show you a myriad of beautiful flowers available at your chosen time of year. My intention is always to create original one-off bouquets and arrangements that capture your vision for probably the most beautiful day in your life.

A wealth of experience means I've encountered so many trends over the past 18 years and whilst always embracing the new and avant garde, here at The White Horse Flower Company seasonal abundance and natural beauty always will be my signature style.

From current trends for rustic, just gathered from the garden, right through to luxurious and opulent. From verdantly green, abundant, fragrant and flower-filled, to the quirky and wild. Be it an outdoor ceremony in a woodland, a country church or a stately home, my intention is always to create floral memories that will last a lifetime.

Naturally lovely British grown flowers flex with the seasons and bring grace and charm to your big day. Whatever your style from classic country house weddings to informal wildflower-style celebrations (or anywhere in between), you’ll find a grower florist who can help you realise your wedding dreams.

If British flowers are at the heart of your flowery fantasies then it’s important to focus on which flowers are likely to be growing at the time of your wedding – every flower has a natural season when it is at the peak of its beauty and abundance.

Peonies are romantic wedding choices much loved by couples and enjoy a short but glorious season any time between May and June in the UK. English garden roses, another wedding classic, reach a peak in June and continue through the summer months (though less abundantly) until September.  If you are getting married outside the summer months, why not consider a frilly ranunculus as a British grown alternative to imported roses?  Staying seasonal involves flexibility and creativity but can achieve truly stunning results.

Rather than thinking about specific varieties of flower you’d like, why not think in terms of the effects you want to achieve? If you love the airy lightness of baby’s breath (gypsophila) but are getting married outside its summer season, for spring weddings why not consider using early fruit blossom or for late summer alternatives try Ammi visnaga for an frothy white touch.  When you work with a flower growing florist they’ll be able to suggest what will work for the look you want for your wedding, using flowers that are in their prime season.
