Vase Arrangement Workshop
Vase Arrangement Workshop

Hosted by Lindsey Kitchin

Have you ever untied a bouquet of flowers or picked a few blooms from your garden and ended up frustrated at how they always seem to fall to the side and not stay in place?

This workshop aims to show you how to create arrangements in both a vase and bowl using a kenzan (flower frog) as well as other simple techniques to hold flowers in place.

Using locally grown flowers and foliage and they’ll show you how they create seasonal arrangements in various vases using a selection of tools to hold the flowers in place before you make your own creation to take home which will include both bowl and kenzan (flower frog).

In addition to this they’ll show you how I scale up these techniques into much larger floral pedestal arrangements before you enjoy a light lunch together.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in flowers and arranging for pleasure as well as florists wanting to practise their skills for small tables centres as well as watch an experienced florist create a much larger installation.

There will be time to talk over lunch and the session will finish by 1.30pm

Following the class, you will be treated to a delicious lunch from Honesty, along with a tasty glass of wine.
