Trindledown, Great Shefford

Trindledown, Great Shefford, is set in 10 acres of farmland on the edge of the beautiful Lambourn Downs and is a rescue and rehoming centre, specialising in the care of elderly animals.

They have a wide variety of animals on site from dogs and cats, to birds, guinea pigs and alpacas.

There’s lots of things to see and do, and as members of the South East Tourism Board, you can be sure of a warm welcome.

  • Take a tour and get to know the animals and their work
  • Go and visit Guinea Pig Village
  • Meet and feed the friendly sheep and Alpacas
  • Check out the Trindledown Treasures charity shop
  • Grab some pet supplies from the Smithy’s Pet Shop

Goodies Cafe, located on the farm, is open for business 10am – 3pm Tuesday to Sunday, and offers a large choice of hot and cold food including a full takeaway service

They are open Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 3pm for visitors. Entry to the farm is via a donation to the charity.
