National Animal Welfare Trust is one of the UK’s top animal welfare charities operating five rehoming centres across the south of England.

Whether you already own a pet or are looking for a new companion they’re there to help.

NAWT Berkshire, locally called Trindledown Farm, is nestled on 10 acres of lovely farmland at the edge of the stunning Lambourn Downs.

They’re home to a variety of animals, including their friendly dogs and cats, cuddly rabbits, lively guinea pigs, and fluffy sheep.

If you’re thinking about rehoming an animal, please contact their reception team—they’re here to help you with the next steps!

If you’re interested in giving a forever home to one of their animals, be sure to check out their rehoming page.

They’d also love your help with donations!

If you’d like to drop off items for them, they have donation bins located outside their reception areas.

Just give them a quick call first to make sure they’re able to accept your item(s).

Five reasons to foster a pet
  1. You will be a vital part of the homing process gathering information of how a particular animal adapts to being in a home environment, allowing us to find the best matched forever home in the future.
  2. People with limited time to give can enjoy the love and companionship of an animal without the long-term commitment of pet ownership
  3. Fostering a pet in your home allows the spaces in our homing centres to be prioritised for one of the many homeless and abandoned animals looking for a place to stay
  4. Improve your physical and mental wellbeing with a consistent routine of care for an animal who depends on you.
  5. You will provide invaluable respite care to an animal who is recovering from medical treatment and desperately needs some home comforts
