1772 at the Retreat is named after the year the original house was built, and is our relaxed all-day dining brasserie.

Dog Friendly Stays at The Retreat.

Well behaved dogs are welcomed at The Retreat. We have dog-friendly rooms with external access and plenty of grounds to run around in and explore.

There is a £20 per night charge per dog. A maximum of 2 dogs per room. We provide a dog welcome pack on arrival. No dogs can be left in the room unattended.

You can dine with your dog in The Atlas Room and the Orangery, dining off the 1772 Brasserie menu. We do not allow dogs in 1772 or Yu Pan Asian Restaurant.

Great walks for you and your dog from the front door of the hotel in the grounds and locally.
