The Pelican Inn, Froxfield is a  quaint, late 17th century pub with a warm, cosy atmosphere along with eight comfortable bedrooms and a friendly welcome guaranteed.

They’re situated in the countryside, near the village of Froxfield, between Marlborough and Hungerford.

It began life as a coaching inn, becoming a pitstop for passing travellers, throughout the 1700’s.

Just like centuries ago its in their heart to provide honest hearty food, great drinks and a place to rest your head.

Theirs was the last of three coaching inns to be built in the village, which since Roman times has been situated on a popular route linking London and Bath.

Immersed in a walkers paradise, they’re only a five minute stroll from the scenic Kennet and Avon Canal (bridge 90 and lock gate 70), and notably on the doorstep to a number of lovely walks across the backdrop of their stunning landscape.

From sumptuous suppers to long lunches, or after a long walk, their charming menu is full of joy.

Their eclectic menu sees quintessential British classics rub shoulders with modern bistro dishes, as well as plenty of small plates for nibbling on with drinks.

At their establishment, they pride themselves on being inclusive and welcoming to all.

Beyond that, they value their four-legged visitors, going out of their way to provide a dog-friendly space where wagging tails are always welcome.

Parents with small children will appreciate their child-friendly atmosphere and menu, too.

They know that people have diverse dietary requirements.

That’s why they offer a variety of delicious vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Sundays are for enjoying tasty roasts (and plant-based dishes too!).
