The Greek Kitchen
Hosted by Sarah Leary
Often overshadowed by its European counterparts (think Italy, Spain and France) traditional Greek cuisine is firmly founded on the Mediterranean triad of wheat, grapes and olives, along with flavoursome herbs such as rosemary, thyme and oregano.
Surrounded as it is by four seas, this has resulted in an incredible diversity of amazing produce including fresh fish, vegetables, cereals and legumes.
In this hands on class they offer you a little taste of sunshine as they introduce you to some traditional favourites alongside a few unfamiliar yet equally delicious gems.
You will learn:
- Stove top pita bread
- Pan fried halloumi with herbed salsa
- Chicken souvlaki
- Spanakopita pie
- Lemon roasted potatoes with feta and thyme
After the class you will sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labour with a tasty glass of wine.
