The Empire Café and Bakery is a family-run business that has been serving and baking with love for over 150 years now – with the same owner- one of the oldest Family businesses in the town!
Since the 1920s, they’ve proudly been a part of Newbury’s family business scene with the owner Wendy still working in her eighties.
Their lardy cakes and celebration cakes are local favourites, and they bake delicious bread and cakes fresh every day right there on site.
Their café offers a wide variety of fresh foods, with daily specials that ensure you always leave both satisfied and happy!
It is fully open and welcoming people for all day breakfast, home cooked lunches and afternoon teas.
