Pub menu classics and real ales in thatched inn with exposed-brickwork and beams, plus open-fires.
The pub's name comes from a local legend of a 'cunning man' - a good wizard who would help to protect people from dark spirits and witches.
The original building was destroyed following repeated flooding, however the newly re-built pub-restaurant has been impressively restored in its original style - complete with thatched roof.
Their menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as their seasonal spring dishes, and they’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in their beautiful gardens or by theircrackling log fires.
The Cunning Man is a dog friendly pub in Burghfield Bridge.
They welcome four legged friends and have water and treats available
to ensure they're as comfortable as you are during your visit!
Dogs are allowed in the bar area of the pub, as this is the most friendly environment
for you and your four-legged friends to feel relaxed, safe, and happy at all times during your visit.
