The Buttercream Masterclass

Spend two inspiring days immersed in the art of buttercream.

This relaxed, hands-on masterclass is all about learning to bake, stack, and decorate beautiful buttercream cakes while building real confidence and creativity.

Over the two days, you’ll create two stunning cakes:

A tall single-tier cake finished with silky Swiss meringue buttercream and decorated with fresh, organic, edible flowers.

A two-tier semi-naked vanilla cake made with rich American buttercream, finished with arranged posies of real flowers and foliage.

You’ll learn how to bake soft, even sponges, work confidently with both types of buttercream, and safely prepare and use fresh flowers to decorate your cakes beautifully.

You’ll also gain the skills to stack and dowel cakes securely, achieve smooth or semi-naked finishes, and design elegant, natural decorations.

With small class sizes, there’s plenty of individual guidance and time to practise each technique.

It’s a relaxed, supportive environment where everyone learns at their own pace and leaves feeling proud of what they’ve created.
