The Bruces Trust is a charitable organization founded in 1988 by Louise and David Bruce. It seeks to provide disabled, disadvantaged, and elderly people with the opportunity to enjoy self-steer, self-catering holidays while cruising on the Kennet & Avon Canal. In January 2016, the organization gifted its fleet of four boats to the “Bruce Branch” of the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust, which continues to operate them from Great Bedwyn to this day.
