Located in the historic Grade II listed building, The Blue Boar is more than a pub. It boasts a legacy of 3 centuries and connects to the vivid past of Aldbourne and the 101st Airborne Easy Company (Band of Brothers) during World War II. Miles and Kay continued to meticulously maintain and honor this legacy as the 32nd tenants in December 2022.

With Phil, their celebrated head barman who spent 40 faithful years behind the bar, the pub remains the local hub for all neighbourhood gossip and camaraderie, from early drink to the last call.

At their establishment, they strive for inclusivity and providing the best service possible. Check out their checklist to see how they can meet your needs.

Beyond that, children and dogs are allowed in the bar. They believe that communal gatherings are integral for cultivating a strong local community. Their space regularly hosts visit Their Website and see what’s on their calendar!
