Beetle and Wedge Boathouse at Moulsford-on-Thames is tucked away, and perfectly positioned on the most stunning part of the River Thames.

They could not agree more. Bens passion for delicious food, is shared by his extremely talented Head Chef, Josh. The menu that they have worked so hard on creating is simply mouthwatering. From the Pan-fried Scallops in a Cauliflower Puree to the Confit Pork Belly there is something for everyone. Combine the above with the enviable wine menu, breath taking Riverside setting and they are confident that you will keep coming back for more.

We are delighted to offer a variety of private hire boats for your enjoyment allowing you take in the beautiful River Thames and surrounding countryside and you moor up on the pub quay.

Ferryman’s Cottage is set within their grounds there at the Beetle and Wedge.

Whatever the occasion may be, they have created the perfect retreat for anyone looking to treat themselves to a few nights away.

The cottage has recently been renovated, creating a relaxing, and comfortable environment. Each suite has been given its own style by carefully selecting colors to complement its quaint setting while giving their guests an attractive but slightly quirky place to stay. The cottage has two ground floor bedrooms with private shower rooms that are dog friendly and two first floor bedrooms that have private bathrooms. All their rooms boast beautiful traditional furniture and the comfiest of bedding and equipped with Nespresso coffee machines, kettle, and a fridge with a selection of soft drinks.

Just like The Beetle your experience with them is paramount and they do like to be slightly different. They can accommodate a range of any special requests you may have which will all be personally handled while you are with them.
