The Apollo Big Band
Expect an evening of world-class big band music.
Their program pays a special nod to the bands of the swing era and also big band arrangements of classical pieces while taking you on a musical journey through the decades right up to the modern day.
They are incredibly fortunate to welcome back the remarkably talented Emily Apps.
A highly accomplished singer, actress, cabaret performer, and vocal coach, Emily with her warm and engaging personality always brings something truly special to the stage.
Emily has previously sung several times with Apollo with great success and has recently secured a role in Peter Pan at the Cheltenham Playhouse.
Joining the line-up this year, they are also delighted to feature the fantastic Harry Apps making this a brilliant double bill of guest vocalists.
Harry’s Theatre Credits include: Marius in Les Misérables (West End Staged Concert and International Tour); Sondheim’s Old Friends(Gielgud); Tobias in Sweeney Todd (West Green House Opera) and he is presently performing in Phantom of the Opera in London.

They are on the site of Mary Hare School, please stick to the public areas (the auditorium, foyer, grass and smoking area to the left hand side of the venue entrance as you look at it).
Doors to the venue open an hour before the performance starts, with the bar starting service at the same time.
Doors to the auditorium usually open half an hour before a performance.
Tickets can be purchased from the box office (which is directly opposite the entrance doors) during opening hours (10am-4.30pm weekdays), as well as just before and during the show.
Their box office and bar accept both card and cash payments.
Please note that there is no cash machine on site.
