Summer Solstice
Summer Solstice

20 June 2026

Summer Solsticeat Wasing is a carefully curated ceremony; a celebration to mark our gratitude for the Sun – the giver of all life and energy.

After an afternoon of grounding and preparation, surrounded by nature, their ceremony begins.

As day becomes night, they gather together around the fire, where through music, dance, song and prayer they honour the earth and her elements, especially fire, and give their thanks for the extraordinary gift of life, culminating in their torchlit procession to Solstice Hill to welcome in the Sun to his longest day.

With the weight of modern life, the constant demands, the endless scrolling, you may feel detached from yourself, from others, and from nature.

Through ceremony, music and movement, whey hold a space that meets you exactly as you are.

You may arrive seeking stillness and support, or ready to open fully into the joy and shared celebration of the season.

It’s a time for deep connection where both reflection and high energy are welcome.

Before and after the ceremony there is the space to take time for yourself.

A wild swim, nature meditation, connecting with others or to simply be alone with nature, enabling you to prepare, realign and integrate.

During the 12-hour ceremony, held by Chris Park, Initiate of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, we come together.

From music around the fire in the living sanctuary of their Sacred Glade, to the fiery dawn at the Sunrise Ceremony, you will all navigate a path and a journey together.

With the artists holding space together in true ceremony, you can release what no longer serves you, set new intentions, and step into personal growth with clarity and purpose.

This is a gathering to reconnect and re-energise, held by nature and their community around you.

Beyond the personal, Solstice at Wasing is a shared celebration of community and unity.

They support one another, honour the energy that sustains all life, observe ancestral wisdom and recognise their interconnectedness with all things.

Every experience is personal, yet its power is amplified when you embrace it together.

It’s a unifying moment that transcends beliefs and reminds us that we all move to the rhythm of the same sun.

Their intimate ceremony is also a spark for creativity and inspiration.

Whether you seek fresh perspective or artistic flow, their collective energy ignites imagination.

This is a regenerative experience. It’s a bridge from overwhelm to calm and from detachment to belonging.

It is a chance to connect with self, each other and nature.

Solstice at Wasing is a carefully curated ceremony; a celebration to mark their gratitude for the Sun – the giver of all life and energy.

Gathering around the fire, they honour the earth and her elements through music, movement, song and prayer.

The night culminates in a torchlit procession to Solstice Hill to welcome in the Sun to his longest day.

The solstice is a turning point, a reminder of the cyclical nature of life.

As one, they embrace this time to connect deeply with themselves, each other and the land.

Solstice at Wasing is guided by artists and ceremony leaders whose work is rooted in connection and shared presence.

Through the night, music and voice weave through the woodland, holding space around the fire and into the dawn.

From prayerful song and ancestral sound to intimate, soul-stirring performances, each artist shapes a ceremony that emerges from the land, the moment, and the community gathered.
