Summer Drama Camp

StageAbility was established in 2008 by Jackie Stuart who now oversees weekly drama classes across four centres in Berkshire (Tilehurst, Burghfield Common, Wokingham and Earley), musical theatre classes (Mortimer and Earley), after-school drama clubs, drama teaching in local primary schools, youth theatre shows and holiday drama camps for children aged 5-18.

There really is something for everyone!

Children leave their classes just buzzing with energy and enthusiasm.

They help children to build their confidence by teaching drama and theatre skills so that they gain skills to overcome life’s obstacles, even if they are really shy.

They pride themselves on their students’ development, with each child following an individual path.

Confidence, self-belief, fun, teamwork and increased self-esteem are at the centre of everything they do.

And there are plenty of opportunities to perform, too

StageAbility runs fun, creative drama holiday camps across most of the school holidays across Wokingham, West Berkshire and Reading for all skill levels and abilities.

Their ‘Show in a Week’ summer drama camps are always popular, with children coming back year after year – they even have families booking their summer holiday around it!

The camps usually run in Tilehurst, Mortimer and Wokingham (but please check the link on their website for current venues).

The children rehearse a fun-filled musical across the week and then take the show into a local theatre for family and friends to watch.

They can cater for beginners as well as seasoned young performers.

It’s such a great week and really does make memories to cherish.
