Steve Coppell Q&A tickets almost sold out

An exclusive Q&A event with legendary Reading FC manager Steve Coppell at the Purple Turtle in April looks set to sell out within the next few days.

Coppell guided Reading up into the Premier League in 2006 for the first time in the club’s history as his side won the Championship with a record 106 points.

The team went on to finish in eighth place in the Premier League the following season – missing out on a European place by a solitary point.

The former Manchester United and England winger returns to Reading on Sunday April 27 for a Q&A event, which will see him reminisce about his time at the club.

The Q&A starts at 5.30pm and will be followed by audience questions and a chance to meet the former Reading manager.

There were only a handful of tickets still available for the event as at December 31 and the remaining tickets are expected to sell out in the coming days.

Before that event, Reading FC legends Glen Little, Leroy Lita and Nicky Shorey return to the town for a Q&A at the Purple Turtle on Sunday, February 23, also starting at 5.30pm.

Tickets are selling quickly for this event and are priced at £12.50 each.

Other events with former Reading players are planned for this year at the Purple Turtle, with former Royals striker and manager Jimmy Quinn the subject of a Q&A on Sunday June 22.
