Drama and performing arts classes can be surprisingly different.
Some focus on acting, singing and dancing.
Others specialise in one particular area.
Some work towards exams, competitions or regular performances, while others concentrate on confidence, creativity and communication.
There is no single model that suits every child.
The important thing is understanding what each class offers and finding the environment in which your child is most likely to thrive.

Their focus is creative drama rather than directed drama (rehearsing scripts for performances).
Through improvisation, devising, storytelling and carefully structured drama games, children develop confidence, communication skills, creativity and friendships, with plenty of laughter along the way.
Productions are available through their youth theatre on Sundays, but they are always an optional extra.
Children do not have to want the spotlight to belong at StageAbility.
