The Six Bells is a family run pub and restaurant, which has been lovingly renovated in 2020 to bring a modern feeling to this historic building. They offer local draft ales and lagers, an extensive wine list, as well as a delicious seasonal dining menu.
Relax by the fireplace for coffee, in the sunny conservatory for breakfast or in the modern restaurant for dinner, with views into the open kitchen and beer garden.
They are a dog friendly pub and inn, with muddy paws welcome in the main bar, snug and conservatory.

The kitchen is led by head chef and owner, Luke Woods. Luke prides himself on using fresh local produce to create a range of interesting, tasty, seasonal dishes as well as pub classics. The menu changes regularly depending on the availability of seasonal produce. They are happy to cater for all allergies and intolerances and will have a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.
All their produce is sourced locally, using well known suppliers such as Vicars game and Fisher of Newbury, with the intention of broadening their local suppliers in the future. They are interested in creating a sustainable menu, with many vegetarian and vegan options.
They pride themselves in being a family friendly business, all children are welcome, they offer a great homemade children’s menu – catering for any dietary/ allergy requirements.
