At Read Easy, their aim is to help all adults in the UK achieve their full potential by improving their reading skills.
Over 7% of the working age population in England alone – that’s 2.4 million people – can barely read or not at all.
That’s why they offer free one-on-one coaching through trained volunteer Reading Coaches.
Established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2011, Read Easy UK now includes over 80 volunteer-led groups and has helped 1000+ adults learn to read in their community.

They’re expanding their services and plan to have over 100 groups by 2025.
