A 3 hour workshop where you will create, fire and polish a Moon gazing hare pendant to take home.Â
Run by Lynne of Lily Mae Studios,an Oxfordshire craftswoman passionate about reproducing nature in silver.
This workshop is suitable for those who don’t have any experience with silver clay.
You will learn about silver clay, what it is and how to handle it and have 5g of silver clay to make either one pendant or a pendant and 2 dangle earrings (depending on the size of your pendant).
You will be able to choose textures and cutters to use from my selection.
They will focus on: – How to roll, texture and cut silver clay. – How and when to add holes for jump rings. – How to refine a piece before firing. – How to achieve a mirror shine. – How to torch fire a piece. – How to polish your fired piece.
NB this workshop does not cover making stud earrings or rings.
