Silver clay, also known as precious metal clay is a fantastic eco-friendly material.

​Made from silver, recycled from various sources such as the medical and communication industries.

The recycled silver is refined into tiny particles and mixed with an organic, non toxic binder.

​This fabulous malleable material can then be shaped and sculpted and even used to capture real pieces of nature, using techniques that you will learn on a Silver Clay Academy Workshop. 

​When the clay is dried, it is then fired using either a special kiln, or a torch. during this process the binder is burned away leaving pure ( or Fine silver)

The piece is polished to leave a beautiful piece of jewellery for you to treasure forever.

Clay Play Morning

• Due to popular demand they are opening the studio for a stay and clay play throughout August, once a week from 10am-1pm (On a Thursday or Friday)
• Come along with your latest project and meet other silver clay fans.
