Set for January: The Woodspeen unveils fresh Set Menu and Burns Night Specials
Newbury, December 24 – Newbury restaurant, The Woodspeen is ‘Set for January’ as they launch a thoughtfully priced set menu for the start of the new year.
Guests can enjoy 2 fresh, seasonal courses for £34 or 3 courses for £39 from Tuesday 7th January.
This tasty edit of winter flavours is sure to tempt, with dishes such as mussel chowder to start, Cornish cod with smoked haddock ravioli for main and caramel poached apple  with white chocolate ganache and filo crisps to finish.
The Woodspeen’s Set Menu will be served Tuesday – Friday, at lunch and dinner throughout January. Â
Burns Night Specials
This January, The Woodspeen is also pleased to give a nod to Burns Night, with a seasonal special inspired by traditional Scottish fayre.
Alongside the a la carte menu on Saturday 25thJanuary, restaurant guests can choose a special Venison Wellington, served with haggis beignet, carrot and swede, red cabbage, and a dark chocolate red wine sauce.
And for those who fancy hosting their own Burns Night celebration (without the cooking or clearing up), The Woodspeen’s Cookery School is available to hire on 25th January, complete with dedicated Chef and smart TV for music and poetry.
