A service of thanksgiving for the late Queen Elizabeth II will be held in Newbury next month.

The service will be an opportunity for West Berkshire to come together to remember Queen Elizabeth II and celebrate her life.

It will reflect her connection to West Berkshire and fondness for horse racing and give thanks for her lifetime of service to the country and its people.

Local residents are also invited to attend the service which will be attended by almost 500 guests including representatives from communities across the district.

Tickets are available to book online in the next few days, so keep an eye on their social channels for more information.

Tickets are based on a first-come, first-served basis until Monday 31 October.

The service will be led by the Revd Will Hunter Smart, Rector of St Nicolas Church.
