Modern life is so busy that most of us at times run low on energy.

And if your energy is down then often your confidence can also dip.

It is with that in mind that they have launched re:treat.

As well as weekends for adults, there are one-of-a-kind parent and teen options to connect and make memories together.

Their retreats are run at an inspirational setting in beautiful West Berkshire where our team of specialists will work with you to restore and strengthen your wellbeing.

Their approach is built around self love – taking time out to escape from the pressures of daily life to nurture both body and mind.

Enjoy the company of like-minded people.

Woodland walks and outdoor exercise.

Yoga, Pilates or mindfulness

Serious nourishment with tasty wholesome vegetarian food

Workshops to learn something new.

Their aim is that you leave feeling energised, recharged and restored through a mix of fitness, wellness and adventure with a pinch of self-discovery.

Location

The accommodation sleeps ten in a former barn in East Ilsley on a working farm.

It has been sympathetically restored to the highest standards to uncover much of its original charm and character including exposed beams an vaulted ceilings.

A large open-plan dining space flows seamlessly through to the stunning kitchen, providing the perfect place to enjoy their foodie feasts, cookery lessons and talks around the beautiful island unit.

Each bedroom has been tastefully presented with the highest level of comfort in mind, dressed in crisp white bed linen and with en-suite facilities.

Outside, enjoy the most spectacular unspoiled views of the North Wessex Downs, including some incredible sunsets from the south facing patio.

The Ridgeway – a national trail commonly known as Britain’s oldest road – is on the doorstep, making a perfect location for mindful walks with woodland just a short hop away – ready to be explored during their forest bathing and foraging sessions.

Retreats

Re: Charge

These adults-only retreats focus on restoring energy and building confidence.

A re:treat is one treat you don’t have to feel guilty about.

It’s simply a case of allowing yourself to take time out from all the distractions that go with everyday life.

By refocusing on you for just a few days and immersing yourself in a totally supportive environment with like-minded people, you will find secrets that may right now be eluding you.

Re:Connect

These retreats are aimed at a parent and their 10-16 year-olds with numbers limited to ten (five pairs).

Rachel has developed the approach in collaboration with her eldest daughter, 12-year-old, Florence.

Having looked fruitlessly for retreats (or even spa days!) suitable for Mums and daughters, the pair decided there was a market out there for retreats that are built around taking time away from the frantic pace of daily life to enjoy quality time and experiences together.

All elements have been carefully tailored by a team of wellness specialists to ensure they are fun and suitable for the age groups.

They know the challenges of convincing a reluctant child to embark upon too long a walk, or eat a pile of spinach!

In addition, there is the opportunity for a pinch of self-discovery with hands-on workshops and activities, such as resilience and confidence building, mala making, cookery lessons and art sessions.

The house is well equipped during down time or evenings, with board games, table football, art materials and outdoor garden games.

Food

They’re proud foodies and serious nourishment is high priority.

Their food is vegetarian and filled with wholesome and natural ingredients but, most importantly, plentiful and delicious.

Where possible, they buy local – from Beechwood eggs, to Pangbourne Cheese, and from Birch Cottage Bread to Tolhurst Organic vegetables.
