Reading FC podcast host launches new event speakers business
The host of a popular Reading FC podcast has launched a new event speakers business – with the help of a number of former Reading players.
Reading fan Mark Roach, who hosted the 1871 Podcast, has launched Event Speakers, which provides former Premier League footballers as speakers for a variety of different types of events, including schools, football club, supporters club and business events.
Mark has recently hosted a number of Q&A events at the Purple Turtle in Reading with Reading FC legends including Steve Coppell and Jimmy Quinn – and will be hosting another Q&A event with Sir John Madejski at the venue on Tuesday, July 15.
He is already working with an impressive roster of speakers including former Reading and Burnley winger Glen Little and ex Arsenal and England striker Alan Smith.
Other ex players on Mark’s roster of available speakers include Paul Parker, Matt Jarvis, Steve Coppell, Wally Downes, Ian Bishop, Gordon Hill and David Hillier, and former Reading players Michael Duberry, Martin Keown, Adam Le Fondre, Ibrahima Sonko, Nicky Shorey, Leroy Lita and Dylan Kerr.
Little was booked in as a speaker at the recent Woodley Carnival Schools Football Tournament – and will be the special guest at a Sports Personality of the Year event at Trinity School in Newbury later this month.
If your school, club or business is interested in booking a speaker for your event, Mark can be contacted via WhatsApp message on 07842 627548, or by visiting the Event Speakers website:
