A Reading estate agency has been shortlisted for a national industry award, just three years after opening.

Bespoke Estate Agents, founded by Reading-born estate agent Mark Heneghan in September 2023, is a finalist for Estate Agency of the Year (Small) at The Negotiator Awards 2026.

The independent business has also been shortlisted for Regional Agency of the Year: South East.

The winners will be announced at The Negotiator Awards dinner at Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London on November 27.

“Having founded Bespoke just over three years ago, I’m proud to see the business shortlisted for a national award, alongside recognition in the South East,” said Mark, who has worked in the Reading property market for three decades.

“It is encouraging recognition of the work that has gone into building the business, and I’m grateful to the clients who have trusted us with their moves.”

Born and raised in Reading, Mark established Bespoke to offer a personal approach to selling homes, with one experienced agent guiding clients from their initial valuation through to completion.

The agency combines local knowledge and personal service with professional photography, video tours and technology that keeps clients informed about their sale.

Mark added: “I wanted to build a business where clients know who they are dealing with and have someone personally invested in their move.

“Moving home is a significant event. Good marketing matters, but so does having someone you can reach, who knows your circumstances and stays involved throughout the process.

That has been at the heart of Bespoke from the beginning.”
