Before Philip & Lauren Davison took over at The Fox they had The Sun in the Wood in Ashmore Green for over 16 years. Philip who won BII Licensee of the Year 2009, has been in the industry as a chef for over 30 years, and for the past twenty-four years has run four pubs and restaurants of his own, with his wife Lauren. Whilst at The Sun in the Wood not only did Philip win Licensee of the year, the pub also won many awards for its selection of wines, Customer Service and marketing.
