Paul Presents Boogie Mites with Lizzie Lock
Fun Music for Young Learners
Boogie Mites sprang from Harriet’s love of music.
A singer-songwriter, Harriet wrote songs for her daughters and soon developed music workshops for young children.
When Sue brought her son to class one day, a partnership was born.
Their catchy melodies, toe-tapping beats and exciting themes inspire children and grown-ups to dance, clap and sing along.
With benefits for cognitive, emotional and physical development, active music-making is a great way to learn and feel happy!
Interactive music fun all year round!
With workshops that explore engaging topics such as Jungles, On The Farm and Healthy Living, they feed children’s imaginations.
Their tried-and-tested curriculum progresses the development of musical concepts and key early years skills through movement, singing and percussion play.
Special occasions and festivals can be celebrated with a bespoke one-off music session themed to your event, and can be held virtually if necessary.
Evidence from neuroscience indicates that music-making in the early years accelerates brain development in young children, particularly in the areas of language acquisition and reading skills.
Lizzie  manages Boogie Mites Newbury and Hungerford Music Classes.
She offers early years music and movement sessions for nurseries and parent groups at community venues.
