I just have to say I think I am a confirmed Brit, two days of scorching weather and I’m done with summer 😉 I love this Island, but for only 3 seasons really, the odd one out being the hot one, or really when it gets this hot, it is not for me, which is kind of strange as I was born in Cyprus and spent the first two and a half years of my life there. My mother tells me I used to cry and hated the cold when we came back, how things change eh ! Apparently the F1 race at Silverstone was exciting, I never got to see it, but did hear the commentary on the last lap or two, it was almost like Murray Walker had joined them in the box! Lewis made the last moments exciting and did some crowd pleasing flag waving in victory, made for some good tabloid pictures tomorrow ? Can you imagine being in those machines in this heat !!! Strange place Silverstone, when it is chilly it is freezing there, and when it is warm it is sweltering, must have been unbelievably hot there today, I have just got in and it is still 28 degrees ! So I hope you all survive the heat this week, I think I may be found hiding in the cold room 😉 As we are not offering a menu this week I thought I would share some pictures taken of some of last weeks dishes, I don’t think I will be taking up photography for a living, but must say modern technology makes it so much easier to take photos people can then see. Hope everyone can work their way through this weeks new found confusions to find a place they are comfortable with to go forward, be safe, be sensible and we should all get there !!! Fancy a change? Fed up with cooking? Have a night off with Delivery Food from Foxes! All dishes arrived chilled & ready to pop in the oven. Order before noon on Wednesday for Friday or Saturday delivery. We deliver within a 5-10 mile radius of Welford, which includes Wantage, Challow, the Hanneys, Chieveley, Newbury, Inkpen, Kintbury, Hungerford, Great Shefford, Letcombe Regis, Letcombe Bassett and Childrey.
Here’s how it works
- Have a look at the menu below and let us know if you would like any vegetarian options and your pudding choice.
- Please place your order using the order form on this page, by Messenger on our Facebook page or by emailing karen@foxescatering.co.uk.
- Place your order before midday on Wednesday for Friday or Saturday delivery; arrangements will be made for a delivery time when we confirm your order.
- We will send confirmation email with an invoice and payment details. Payment is by Paypal or bank transfer, we would really appreciate payment as soon as you receive our confirmation email.
- Delivery within 5-10 miles of Welford is free, other distances by arrangement (a small fee may be added).
