Newbury in Bloom
Newbury in Bloom campaign is back for 2026, and they’re ready to welcome all entries!
Residents, businesses, schools, and community groups, can start planning your beautiful displays and join them in this fun annual celebration of gardening and community spirit.
Make sure to get your entries in by 25 May 2026.
Judging will take place during the week starting 22 June 2026, so get those creative juices flowing!
2026 Categories:
- Neighbourhood (groups of 5 or more properties, including Almshouses & canal boats)
- Community Projects (Any community or group collaborating on a project)
- Front Garden (residents)
- Places of Worship or Assembly
- Allotment
- Miniature Garden (small displays, window boxes, hanging baskets, maximum size 1m x 1m)
- Business Premises
- Schools
Newbury Town Council is there to support you.
They’re looking forward to working closely with residents and community organisations to cheer on your projects and celebrate your successes.
Together, we can make our town look amazing, promote gardening excellence, and create a greener, cleaner, and more inviting space for everyone.
The success of the local entries is key to Newbury’s participation in the Thames & Chilterns in Bloom 2026 competition.
Last year, they proudly brought home a Silver Gilt Award and won the Best Large Town Trophy for the very first time!
They’ll be recognizing both new and ongoing projects of all sizes.
