Newbury Dramatic Society warmly welcomes you to join their vibrant community of theatre enthusiasts in the Newbury area.

Their diverse range of productions includes everything from timeless classics to contemporary pieces and original works crafted by their talented members.

In 2019, they delighted audiences with three fantastic shows, including an original play by NDS member Nick Card, the iconic black comedy ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’ at The Watermill Theatre, and the charming winter production, ‘Dick Whittington: The Mini Pantomime,’ by chairman Mike Brook.

Currently, they are hard at work rehearsing a delightful summer pantomime with plans for more exciting performances ahead.

They have had the pleasure of performing at The Watermill Theatre on numerous occasions and have established a wonderful partnership with Greenham Arts.

Their dynamic and diverse membership is always eager to welcome new faces.

As a member of NDS, you’ll enjoy multiple opportunities to participate in productions throughout the year, connect with fellow actors and crew members, and engage in a variety of social events like meals and theatre outings.
