Newbury Apple Day

They’re a community-spirited, volunteer-led group that organises an annual Apple Day in the Newbury Market Place to celebrate the seasonal apple harvest.

Go along and sample some freshly pressed juice – and purchase some to take home and enjoy later.

Their stall is very much a community event and they welcome letting children and adults alike have a go with the apple press.

If you’d like to play an active part in Apple Day – either gathering donated apples from orchards beforehand, or baking some apple-based goodies for them to sell, or assisting them on the stall, please let them know .

They’re happy to say they’ve scheduled their next Apple Day event and it will be held Saturday 26th September, 2026, from 9.00am – 2.30pm.
