Name a Seat
Name a seat in the Old LibraryÂ
The Corn Exchange Newbury have launched their Name a Seat appeal as part of their campaign to reopen the historic Newbury Old Library as a new arts hub for the community.
The Name a Seat appeal gives members of the public the opportunity to be the first to name one of the brand-new seats in the Old Library studio theatre, which will open to the public later in 2025.
For a minimum donation of £500 a plaque engraved with your chosen name or message (terms and conditions apply) will be fixed to your chosen seat for 5 years.
Can you help?
Corn Exchange are truly grateful to the people of Newbury for their generosity so far and are now asking everyone to help them raise the last £100,000 to see the Old Library open to the local community.
Naming a seat is a very personal way to support the campaign – whether it’s in your own name, a business name, in memory of a loved one or as a gift for someone special.
Anyone interested can choose the seat they would like to name, but there are a limited number of seats available, so you are encouraged to get in touch now.
Every single penny raised from the appeal will go towards the Old Library campaign to help Corn Exchange Newbury reopen this historic building as a space devoted to using creative activity to improve the emotional, physical and mental wellbeing of our community.
