Michaela Couture

Michaela Couture is bespoke design, dressmakers and alterations specialist, designing clothes for that special occasion from weddings, birthdays and special days such as Ascot.

Michaela adores dressmaking and understands the entire process.

She recognizes the impact of well-fitted, flattering clothes on our happiness, confidence, and sense of feeling special.

With nearly 20 years of experience in made-to-measure and alteration services, she has worked on special occasion dresses, casual wear, vintage heirloom restorations, and designer gowns.

She is  committed to exceeding expectations.

Ever since Michaela can remember, she has been drawn to working with needles and creating garments.

Growing up surrounded by people passionate about needlework, her love for transforming fabric into something extraordinary came naturally.

She received her formal training in Slovakia, where she completed the equivalent of A-levels in historical and custom dressmaking.​

After moving to the UK, she gained invaluable experience working for various wedding houses and couture studios, including Karen Jarmarkier Couture, Pauline Forster, J K Couture, and Pure Couture.

Her work encompasses everything, from bespoke daywear and evening gowns to stunning wedding creations and mother of the bride/groom outfits.

Through alterations, she has gained insights into diverse manufacturing techniques.
