Kintbury Village Hall
Kintbury Players
An amateur drama group whose members live in and around the village of Kintbury, in West Berkshire.
Established in 1976, Kintbury Players produce an annual theatrical show at the Kintbury Coronation Hall, entertaining the local community with a variety of comedies, revues and classic farce plays from both established and local playwrights.
Kintbury Bridge Club
They are a friendly group, playing relaxed bridge every Thursday afternoon, from 2pm
until 4:30pm.
They welcome new players, so please go and give it a try.
You do not need a partner.
Don’t worry if you are a bit rusty, you will soon remember it all.
Kintbury Wildlife Group
They are a group of people of all ages who enjoy all aspects of nature and wildlife.
They welcome
new members – you don’t need to be experts, just have an interest in the natural world around
you.
From October to April they meet at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month when
enthusiasts come to speak with illustrated talks on a wide variety of subjects.
They also have a social evening with drinks and nibbles on the 2nd Tuesday in January.
In the summer they go on local walks and visit places of particular interest further afield.
Their activities are always listed in advance on the village noticeboard, in The Fisherman and usually in the Newbury Weekly News.
A small annual subscription of £10.00 helps them to cover costs, or go along as a visitor for £3.
KIntbury Volunteer Group
The Volunteer Group holds a sociable Village Lunch every month in the Coronation Hall.
