2026 concerts

So far they have three dates booked:

• St Martin’s Church, East Woodhay, Friday 12 June, 7pm. Tickets £17 including refreshments
• Shaw House, Newbury on Saturday 13 June, 6pm.

The concert will be in the Great Hall, but the wonderful lawns and Tudor gardens of the house will be waiting for visitors!

Tickets £15

• Brimpton Village Hall, Sunday 14 June, 2.30pm. Tickets £15 includng refreshments

Next Production:
ALBERT HERRING

Their 2027 staged production will be Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring, a chamber opera and a comic opera too, completed almost exactly 80 years ago.

They’re delighted that David Wordsworth will return as music director, and Lisa Harrington as stage director.

Auditions will be in May.

They’ll start rehearsals after their concerts in June.

The performances will be in February 2027.

If in the meantime you’d like to have a go at concert singing, please let them know!

There’s no formal audition for chorus members, and they have rehearsals most Wednesday evenings in Newbury.
