As you stroll through Hungerford, you can’t help but notice the many references to a certain figure, John of Gaunt.

The inn is named in his honour, plus a school that carries his name is perched on the hill above the town Hungerford.

Rahul Sood, who runs a variety of businesses, from care homes to restaurants, is at the helm.
