Have a go at Weaving

Try your hand at stick weaving and learn about simple weaving techniques on their table and heddle looms.
Their experts will explain the basic principles of weaving with colour and texture.
The Kennet Valley Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers was formed in 1977 and has a growing membership of 80.
Their members are dedicated to a range of textile skills, that include core skills in weaving, spinning and dyeing, with associated crafts such as braiding, knitting, lace-making and more.
Experience ranges from beginner to expert and new members are always welcome to join their group of enthusiasts.

Shaw House
Often described as a hidden gem, they are located in tranquil surroundings on the north edge of Newbury.
Shaw House is a Grade I listed multi-purpose event venue which is also open for the public to explore during school holidays and at weekends between February and September every year.
