You will be asked for a donation on the evening

Slow down for a mindful moonlit walk to reflect spiritually on the beauty of their local trees by the light of the full moon, sharing poems, scripture, songs and stories.


Join Revd Rachel Carnegie in the small tent in front of the Abbey at 9pm for a hot drink, before setting out for the hour’s walk.

Please bring a torch.


Please dress warmly and wear footwear appropriate for uneven ground.


This event is not suitable for dogs.

The event will be cancelled if there is poor weather.

The biennial Dorchester-on-Thames Festival is one of Oxfordshire’s leading Festivals based in and around the stunning location of Dorchester Abbey.

In 2026 they are partnering with local charity Be Free Young Carers, who enable Oxfordshire Young Carers to achieve their full potential by delivering a far-reaching developmental and emotional support network of people and resources in their daily lives, schools and communities.
