Marion Royle and Lisa Mounteer-Watson will be celebrating the grand stage of the diversity and fragility of avian life at our delightful New Era Theatre.

You are cordially invited to a preview exhibition of their paintings on June 5th, from 17:30 – 20:00 in the foyer of the theatre

Part of the proceeds will be donated to The Hawk Conservancy and Curlew Action.

There are also two coffee mornings, as shown on the beautiful poster below, created by Jane Read; and a couple of quotes from Shakespeare to whet your appetite still further!

“For look where Beatrice, like a lapwing, runs
Close by the ground, to hear our conference.”

Hero in Much Ado About Nothing

“The finch, the sparrow and the lark,
The plain-song cuckoo gray,
Whose note full many a man doth mark,
And dares not answer nay”

Bottom’s song from A Midsummer Night’s Dream
