“IT’S ROCK AND ROLL FARMING at Newbury Showground with Farmfest 2027!
The Great British Farmfest is moving to Newbury Showground in 2027 following its inaugural event at Stoneleigh Park, which attracted more than 52,000 visitors over three days.
Farmfest will return on 29-31 May in 2027, organisers have confirmed, promising another celebration of British farming, food, countryside culture and live music.
The festival blends traditional farming with modern music and entertainment, and will include appearances from Mr Clarkson and the cast of Clarkson’s Farm, including Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, and Charlie Ireland.
From dawn till dusk, every inch of the show ground will be buzzing with excitement!
Enjoy incredible arena displays, heartwarming tales, and plenty of chances to roll up your sleeves.
Experience authentic farming, meet colourful characters, and hear genuine opinions!

The Newbury & District Agricultural Society (NADAS) is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity with the main purpose being to educate the general public in the need to preserve the countryside and wildlife, and to promote and support British agriculture, horticulture, forestry and rural crafts industries.
A story over 115 years in the making…
Their story began in 1909 when it was formed to organise the county show.
The Show replaced the existing local horse show, and in due course became the Newbury Show we know today.
The first ever ‘Newbury Show’ took place on 28th September that year (1909), at Enborne Gate Farm.
They’ve had various homes over the years, including Elcot Park and Shaw.
Competitions in the old days included rick building, thatching, ploughing, shepherding, horses, cattle, corn, beets and general root cultivation, then introducing driving classes in 1911.
The Society eventually purchased their present Chievely site in 1984 becoming their ‘forever home’ – ‘Newbury Showground’.

Conveniently located next to the junction 13 M4/A34 interchange, Newbury Showground is the ideal venue for outdoor and indoor events.
As a registered charity, the Society now offers Showground hire/let opportunities for a number of events throughout the year.
All net income raised from these events goes towards maintaining the charity and its programmes.
Spread over 150 acres, our largest events accommodate up to 50 temporary structures, 1,000 sheep, 600 horses, five horse arenas, 400 cattle, a 140m craft marquee, a 75m pig marquee, over 400 stewards, 460 trade stands, eight car parks and much more.
