Dinton Pastures Country Park & California Park | West Berkshire Villagers

Have fun in the Play Park, enjoy the delights of the Dragonfly Café or take a walk around the many trails and lakes here at Dinton Pastures.  Public toilets, changing facilities and mobility scooter hire available. (Public toilets available at the Dragonfly Cafe only).

At Dinton pastures this year they have paddle boards – with summer solstice paddles, doggy paddles, sunset paddles, Perseids Meteor Shower Paddle and supper on the lake.

They have a variety of Drive In Movies and The Marvellous  Festival, with Tribute Bands. They also have climbing walls. 

California Park

California Country Park covers 40 hectares and is set within 100 acres of ancient bogland and lowland heath. It offers scenic walks, wildlife watching, fishing and more. The park is open daily throughout the year. 

The footpath around Longmoor Lake is hard surfaced. Other trails through the park are not and may be unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs in wet, muddy conditions.

There is a play park and a paddling pool, with  a new play area opening this year.
